Hey there! I’m Bekah Aubuchon and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of Finney Injury Law. I am the firm’s phone receptionist, so if you call during my working hours, chances are you will be talking to me first. You couldn’t find a better place to work than at Finney and I truly love what I do. I enjoy having conversations with people-asking them how their day is going, transferring them to a member of our team, or offering those words of comfort if they’re going through a difficult time in their lives. I’ve always had a true passion for helping people and making a difference in their life; lucky for me I’ve been able to help people of all ages and walks of life.If you would’ve told me ten years ago that I’d be working for a well renowned law firm, I would’ve told you, you were crazy.

Ten years ago, I was a few years out of college, had a serious boyfriend, was working out six days a week, and was teaching in a local school district. But life has a funny way of completely changing into something way different (and BETTER) than you would’ve ever imagined. I got married in 2019 to my husband Brandon, and immediately we started trying to have a child, but that didn’t come easy for us. I was devastated because all I ever wanted to be was a mom. I was the one that had babysat everyone’s children for years, served as “Nanny” on family vacations, worked at a daycare all through college and then got my teaching degree. After over a year of trying on our own, we saw a Fertility Doctor and began the difficult process of IVF. All the heartache, dead ends, procedures, injections, and doctor visits were all worth it when we found out we were expecting. We gave birth to our miracle baby in September of 2021 who came 9 weeks early. After 42 days in the NICU, we finally got to bring our son home and life has been pretty perfect ever since. He is the light of our lives, all boy all the time, and keeps us on our toes on the daily. Once you have kids, priorities certainly change and your world revolves around them. I found myself struggling feeling like I was missing out on all the milestones, and just wanting more time with him.

In May of 2022 I resigned from teaching and started working at a local law firm part-time. This gave me so much more time with my son and I know these years of having more time with him are some that I’ll never get back. He’s 4 years old now and I will never once regret my extra time home with him. I also found that I absolutely loved working at a law firm and I still get to do what I love, which is helping people. The best of both worlds! It was fate that now brought me to Finney, and I couldn’t be more excited or ready to see what my future holds here.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with the greatest group of friends and family a gal could ask for, working out, mexican every Friday night, and traveling the world. Though I have only been working at FIL for a short time, I have truly been welcomed with open arms, and I couldn’t feel more honored to be a part of something so great! It truly feels like one big family here. You can truly see how much each member of our team cares about helping people, and making a difference in what we know could be the most difficult time in someone’s life. Each employee here has an important role in every case. You couldn’t find better attorneys than at Finney Injury Law where your needs are their utmost importance. Please pick up the phone and give us a call anytime. I would love to chat with you, and hopefully we can be of some help to you, or someone in your family!
